Scrappin Diva Event coming up and I am pumped!

I am sorry to say I have missed a phew this summer, but I am back in the game...may even host one this year.

New challenge..."out of the border"...pictures are larger than the border of their mattes...should be interesting. Now just to decide what book I want to start...I will post the pics after the event.

These pages were done for Scrappin' Diva's "Red,White and Green Challenge" for the Mexican themed crop night.

The first one shows our trip to Heritage Golf Course for a Franks' Family Lunch. The garden areas inspired this page.

The second one is a Christmas page for The Habing Family Scrapbook. Nicole and Cassandra's Christmas pics inspired this one.

BAD GIRL!

I have been a very bad blogger...I just haven't been that creative lately...going through a dry spell I guess...I must get my butt in gear and start creating and blogging again.

My Baby Book

I finally have my very own baby book! This pink album I got at Costco as part of a kit (see below) and the first picture is the front of the album...

I was told there were good deals on Scrapbooking stuff at Costco and so I casually went to check them out yesterday...and I thought I won the lottery or died and went to scrapbookers heaven...the main supply I needed were books, well for $60 I got two books (this one) and a black one...which I am using for "Our Family Album" and tons of brads, ribbons, stickers and tags! So now I have two books freed up to use for other albums...I plan to go back next weekend for the Brown and Green book kit, and the Caddy full of tools and yet another book for $50!

Scrappin' Divas Was Awesome!

Got the foundations started for some of the pages in my cousin Lori's family scrapbook. I finished alot of them on Sunday...no matter how organized I think I am, I always seem to leave stuff behind...anyhoo...just need to add some info to one of the pages, then I will post them.

Thank you Tammy for a fun night...had a blast with Brooklyn helping me out! Your little girls are sweeties!

My WW Journey

These pictures are from my scrapbook showing the progression of my weightloss journey.
The first page is shows the picture that started it all...My Aha Moment. The second page journals the day I joined Weight Watcher's and my first weightloss goal: 10% or 20lbs.

The third page journals the day I met that goal and the fourth page shows what I looked like when I met my second goal 30lbs; As well the inspiration for it all...a fit Gabriel Reese.

My Antique Family Album

Although the first page is a pre-made page (the lay-out, not the pictures)...it set the tone for this album quite nicely I think. The first few pages are from my paternal grandfather's family from "back in the days"

The third page is my Nanny and Papa's wedding Picture. It inspired me and my hubby to get some black and white pictures done for our wedding as well...that book will come later.
